101 Healthcare is a Canadian home healthcare provider offering
compassionate, in-home medical and non-medical support. I designed their
complete website experience from scratch — defining user journeys,
wireframes, and high-fidelity designs that communicated empathy and
trust.
Goal: Build a digital presence that inspires confidence and simplifies
service discovery for patients and families.
Users & Key Needs
Family Decision-Makers (45–60 yrs) – need trust and
quick contact options.
Seniors Receiving Care (65+ yrs) – want clarity,
reassurance, and accessible design.
Working Caregivers (30–50 yrs) – expect fast booking
and transparent service details.
The interface had to be inclusive and easy to navigate across all age
groups and tech familiarity levels.

style.

typography.

Optimized layout for accessibility and readability across devices.

What I Learned
Designing for healthcare is about building trust first, then usability.
Emotional reassurance is as crucial as clarity and flow.
Simplicity and calm visual tone build instant comfort for older
audiences.
Empathetic language can increase credibility and engagement.
Accessibility should be a design foundation, not an afterthought.
